| Report E-mail
Scams by sending a copy of the
e-mail with its full headers to Road Runner. To report e-mail abuse,
it is important that you copy the e-mail in question (or one example
e-mail) with full headers displayed and send to spamblock@security.rr.com and/or abuse@rr.com.
Paste the copy of the offending mail into the body of your e-mail. Do
not send attachments. If the full e-mail headers are not included,
we will be unable to discern where the e-mail originated, and thus
will be unable to assist you with the matter. |

| Outlook
Express
Right click on the message and select Properties.
Choose the Details tab and select the Message Source Button.
Right click, Select All (CTRL + A) and Right click, select Copy
(CTRL + C).
Close the Message Source window and the Properties window.
Select New Mail and position your cursor in the body of the E-mail.
Right click, Paste (CTRL + V) the copied information.
Send the E-mail to spamblock@security.rr.com |

Outlook
Open the message.
Click the View menu and select Options. You should see a pop up
window. Find the box called "Internet Headers" near the
bottom of the window. This box contains the full headers. To copy
the contents, put your mouse pointer in the box, right-click and
choose Select All. All the text in the box will then be highlighted.
Right-click in the box again and this time choose Copy.
Click on Close.
You can paste the headers into your spam report.
With the message you plan to submit still open, click Forward.
Right click, Paste (CTRL + V) the copied header information into
the body of the message.
Send the E-mail to spamblock@security.rr.com |

Thunderbird
Select the message.
Go to View, select Message Source.
Copy the headers - Right click,
Select All (CTRL + A) and Right click, select Copy (CTRL + C).
Select Write.
Paste the full headers into the body of your email - Right click,
Paste (CTRL + V) the copied information.
Send the E-mail to spamblock@security.rr.com

Google Mail (Gmail)
Click on the More options command near
the top of a message.
Click on the Show original command near the end of the list of command
options.
Select all of the text, copy it, and paste it into
the body of your email.
