Before too long, you'll be part of an exciting transformation at RoadRunner.com. As a current Road Runner customer, you know the value of high-speed Internet and expect the best. That's why we're upgrading our Webmail system to include features that save you time and offer convenience, all on a safe, secure site.
 

Easy e-mail access anytime, anywhere.

Keep in touch with family and friends with multiple accounts (up to 10 with Standard or up to 25 with Turbo) and enjoy complete access to your email anywhere in the world.

 

Expanded mailbox storage up to 5GB with Turbo service.

Store up to 1,000 address-book entries and allocate disk space for each subaccount directly within Webmail. Standard service subscribers will receive 2GB of storage space, and Lite subscribers will have 100MB.

 

Complete family protection with secure features.

Block unwanted spam messages, specific senders or domains.

How will the e-mail upgrade affect my account?

Your e-mail address will not change during the upgrade. If your e-mail address is jsmith@sc.rr.com before the upgrade, it will still be jsmith@sc.rr.com after the upgrade.

The primary change is an increase in the amount of e-mail that you can store on our servers and the number of sub-accounts you can create.

  • Road Runner Lite subscribers: 5 mailboxes per subscriber, 100 MB of server storage space.
  • Road Runner Standard subscribers: 10 mailboxes per subscriber, 2 GB of server storage space.
  • Road Runner Turbo subscribers: 25 mailboxes per subscriber, 5 GB of server storage space.

These changes will take effect once your account has been upgraded to the new system.

 

How will I know if my account has been upgraded?

The easiest way to tell if your account has been upgraded is to login to web mail. If your e-mail messages are accessible through our upgraded interface, then your account has been migrated. If the system directs you to login to the old web mail system, then your account is in the process of being upgraded and should be available shortly.

 

When will the e-mail upgrade occur?

The upgrade dates vary by market. You will receive an e-mail from us the day before the upgrade process begins.

 

Will I still be able to access my Road Runner e-mail during the upgrade?

Yes. If you send/receive Road Runner e-mail using a client like Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express, you can continue to use your e-mail account normally. You will not see any changes or interruptions to your e-mail service.

If you use Road Runner Web Mail to access your messages, you will see the new web mail interface as soon as we begin the upgrade process. The new interface will direct you to login to the old interface through a temporary URL until your specific account has been upgraded. Once upgraded, you will no longer be directed to the old web mail interface.
